Bridging is a beloved Girl Scout tradition that honors girls’ achievements throughout the year and celebrates their “crossing the bridge” to the next Girl Scout level. In previous years, Hopewell Valley bridging troops were celebrated by girls and families at our annual Service Unit Bridging Ceremony. In lieu of coming together this year, troops have creatively bridged on their own.
Congratulations to Troop 71833 who bridged for the last time - from Seniors to Ambassadors. They celebrated by hiking the L&T trail and crossing over 5 bridges, which coincides with the 5 levels of scouting they've completed. At each new bridge, the girls stopped to share memories from each scouting level. Their day ended with lakeside s'mores.
