Congratulations to the girls of Junior Girl Scout Troop 70192 for earning their Bronze Award! The girls chose to work on the problem of declining pollinator populations by planting a pollinator garden at Timberlane Middle School. The girls worked closely with Timberlane Principal to obtain permission for the project and determine the best location for the garden. After sketching the garden design, the girls chose the perennial plants, purchased them using cookie sale proceeds, and installed them in front of the school – complete with handmade pollinator garden signs and plant markers. Way to go girls!
