Interested in Learning More About Volunteering with Girl Scouts?





All Adults Welcome


Stay-at-home mom? Full-time working dad? Retired grandparent? We would love to welcome you to our volunteer team! No kids? No problem! Any adult can help out. (Adults working with girls must pass a background check.) From scientists, to small business owners, to stay-at-home parents, and so much more, Hopewell Valley Girl Scout volunteers come from all kinds of backgrounds.



Volunteer on your Schedule


You choose your volunteer time commitment and focus: Lead a one-time activity or event, help behind the scenes, or even lead a troop. There’s an opportunity for everyone!



Gain New Skills, Make a Difference, Share Your Passion


Whether you want to share your favorite hobby, hone your professional development skills, mold the next generation or simply make a positive change in the world- Girl Scouts has space for you to contribute! You will love our welcoming, supportive community of Girl Scout volunteers.



Ways to Help


Some examples of how you could help:


  • Lead an event

  • Write a monthly email newsletter

  • Join a committee (such as helping run the Higher Awards Banquet)

  • Assist in running the Girl Scout Cookie program

  • Help Lead a Troop (2 leaders per troop-we provide training and resources!)

  • Teach Girl Scout traditions from your childhood

  • Share your hobby, job or passion with a troop or group of girls

  • Help with marketing efforts

  • Write content for our social media

  • Help innovate with new ideas and processes
