Pennington Brownie Girl Scout Troop 70260 who created signs to celebrate the re-opening of the Hopewell Valley Senior Center! The girls were so glad to welcome the seniors back to the county lunch program after the pandemic shut them down. This was the perfect event for their monthly community service for the month of May! On the day of their meeting they put in extra time to show up at the senior center in Pennington and "chalk the walk" with inspiring messages and pictures to welcome them the next day for the opening. Troop 70260 will soon be crossing over to JUNIORS and hope to do more for our seniors in the future! Way to go, Girl Scouts!
