Local troop 70155 held a field day on October 20th for it's members and guests. The event featured Emily West, Co-President of the Hopewell Valley Recreation Foundation and current Lacrosse coach as a guest speaker. Also attending were 4 members of the Princeton Women's Softball team. The speakers explained to the girls about how sports influenced their lives and how Title IX opened up doors for them as women in sports. The guest speakers also focused on good sportsmanship and teamwork.
Afterwards, the girls and their guests played a variety of games. They untied themselves from a human knot, went over jumps and even participated in a sack race.
